Modernised our Operations
Before transportme, we relied on pen-and-paper systems, Excel spreadsheets, and an otherwise robust but seriously outdated Wayfarer system. We could no longer purchase consumables for the Wayfarer units, access reporting, or even make fare changes, which left our operation stuck without the ability to evolve. Students and local passengers also depended on paper tickets that were easily lost or damaged, and we had no real-time visibility of our buses, often leaving customers waiting on the roadside without accurate information. transportme has completely modernised our operation, delivering accurate data, real-time tracking, and a far more efficient service for staff, students, locals, and visitors. The live tracking feature has been invaluable, allowing passengers and parents to monitor buses in real time, reducing waiting times and improving safety and reliability. The introduction of smartcards and online top-ups has removed the need for cash handling, especially for younger students, making the system more secure and convenient for our entire community.
