Lifesaver - not only for us but for students and school as well
With the introduction of the requirement to track student attendance on school buses, we needed to implement an efficient and accurate system for our drivers. It needed to be able to record where the student boarded in the morning and, importantly, where they disembarked in the afternoon with the ability to generate reports for the school if required. We’d previously used a manual paper-and-pen system, however it was neither accurate nor efficient and reporting to the school was a tedious job. This is where our partnership with transportme has been a lifesaver – not only for us but for the students and school as well. Each student carries a Smart Card and simply ‘taps on’ to record their attendance or ‘taps off’ to record their alighting time and location. transportme has made student bus travel a much safer process for students and parents, and more efficient for our drivers.
