Every student has a part to play in making school bus journeys safer.
BusSAFE promotes safer school transport by encouraging students to make responsible choices, respect their driver, and look out for others on board.
Here are five simple ways students can help keep every journey safe.
-Wear your seatbelt where seatbelts are fitted
-Stow your bags under your seat and keep aisles clear
-Know your emergency exits and listen to safety instructions
-Let the driver focus by avoiding unnecessary distractions
-Respect the bus and help keep its equipment in good condition
Small actions can make a big difference. By practising safe and respectful behaviour, students help create a safer journey for everyone.
